Army Increases Benefits for Nursing Students

NURSING school CAN cost tens of thousands of dollars a year. U.S. Army Medical recruiting commander colonel Raymond Dingle says the army offers a comprehensive benefits package to ease the burden, INCLUDING paying for school through the health professions scholarship program.
COLONEL RAYMOND DINGLE:
“We recruit high caliber nurses and offer them different ways to pay for school. Army nursing career paths can include work abroad, clinical, administrative and leadership assignments."
ANNOUNCER:
THE Scholarship covers TUITION AnD a monthly stipend, recently raised to more than 2-THOUSAND DOLLARS. OTHER BENEFITS ARE a signing bonus of up to 30-THOUSAND DOLLARS and loan repayment.
