For the first time ever, guests spending their birthday at a Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort theme park in 2009 will receive free admission on their special day. Guests can either present valid identification or pre-register at disneyparks.com to claim this magical birthday gift. It’s the icing on the cake for a brand-new celebration at Disney Parks called “What Will You Celebrate?”
Disney Parks is embracing a new national trend in family travel called “Celebration Vacations,” families hitting the road to mark life’s special occasions - including birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, graduations and more. Starting January 1, 2009, in addition to the special birthday offer, guests at Disneyland and Walt Disney World will see exciting new entertainment at both Resorts including Fireworks Cruises and Sunrise Safaris at Walt Disney World and a blowout Celebration Zone and Celebration Street Party at Disneyland.
At disneyparks.com, guests will also find free online tools to help customize their celebration and vacation plans, including private Celebration parties, special dining packages, character meet and greets and decorated hotel rooms catered to their special Celebration. “What Will You Celebrate?” is just another way Disney Parks is creating memories at the places “Where Dreams Come True.”
