Looks count. So do first impressions. And according to a recent survey from Men’s Health Magazine, 90% of guys agree it’s just as important for men to improve their appearance as it is for women. Guys are interested in looking good. But what they want most, says Brian Boye, fashion and grooming expert from Men’s Health Magazine is simplicity in order to save time and money, especially in these cash-strapped times.
So whether a man is heading out on a job interview or a date, it is important that he looks his best and makes a great first impression. And whether he is trying to impress a new employer or a love interest there are a few things that will be noticed the minute he walks in the door. According to Boye those things are hair, shoes, and skin. In fact, a recent survey found that 3 out of 4 women say that hair is one of the first things they notice about a man.
In this segment Brian Boye offered his most basic yet highly effective makeover tips for men. Boye will talk about how changing a grooming regimen can improve a man’s confidence and he will also offer tips on great looking hair, how to keep your body fresh, shaving and overall appearance that will help guys look the best without breaking the bank.
Brian Boye directs the fashion and grooming editorial coverage for Men’s Health, the flagship publication of the largest men’s magazine brand in the world. He has appeared on local and national television shows to discuss grooming and fashion trends, including NBC, CNN, FOX, CBS and ABC and is a voting member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America and the Fragrance Foundation.
